Debbie Warren of the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network to be feted on Feb. 25  CHARLOTTE -- The Human Rights Campaign North Carolina Gala Steering Committee is pleased to announce the people and organizations that will be honored at HRC North Carolina Gala in Charlotte on Feb. 25 at the Charlotte Convention Center: - The Farewell to Summer Foundation (The White Party) has been chosen for the Equality Award (organization) - Scott Bishop will be honored as HRC Volunteer of the Year - The Rev. Debbie Warren, founder of the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network (RAIN) will receive the Legacy Award - The LGBT Center of Raleigh will receive the Trailblazer Award The nominees were chosen from the largest pool of nominations in recent years, says Aaron Parker Steering Committee Awards and Scholarship chair. "We are thankful and grateful for those individuals and groups that are creating equality in our communities. It is our pleasure to honor them for their hard work and dedication."
